Project description
Renovation and Construction of Multifunctional Reception Areas in MS Akka and Tinker Bell Sister Vessels
Our firm had the opportunity to work on a unique project for the MS Akka and Tinker Bell sister vessels. The challenge was to design and build a multifunctional reception area that seamlessly combines a restaurant section, including a bar, shop service, and passenger traffic management. This project required a careful balance between functionality, aesthetics, and space optimization to accommodate diverse activities within a confined area.
Problem to Solve
Modernization Without Interrupting Service
A significant challenge in this project was executing the renovation and construction without halting the vessels' ongoing operations, particularly the gastronomic service and customer service areas. This constraint demanded meticulous planning and execution to ensure minimal disruption to services while achieving our renovation goals.
Solution
Strategic Planning and Execution
To overcome the project's challenges, we adopted a strategic approach that included thorough pre-project planning, efficient work scheduling, and constant communication with the vessel management team. By leveraging our skilled team and coordinating closely with on-site staff, we ensured that the multifunctional reception area's construction and the installation of custom-made stainless steel catering furniture were completed efficiently. Furthermore, the integration of IT infrastructure was handled with precision to support the area's multifunctional requirements.
Our ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the project, coupled with our commitment to maintaining service continuity, allowed us to successfully renovate and enhance the reception and restaurant areas of the MS Akka and Tinker Bell, ensuring they met both the client's specifications and the users' needs.
