I. General Provisions

  • The privacy policy defines how personal data of Users necessary for the provision of services via electronic means through the website www.interiomarine.com (hereinafter referred to as the Service) are collected, processed, and stored.
  • The Service collects only the personal data necessary for the provision and development of services offered within it.
  • Personal data collected through the Service are processed in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

III. Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

  • Personal data is used for the purpose of:
    • - registering an account and verifying the User's identity,
    • - enabling login to the Service,
    • -fulfilling the contract regarding services and e-services,
    • - communicating with the User (live chat, contact form, etc.),
    • - sending newsletters (after the User consents to receive them),
    • - operating a comment system,
    • - providing community services,
    • - promoting the Administrator's offer,
    • - marketing, remarketing, affiliation,
    • - personalizing the Service for Users,
    • - analytical and statistical activities,
    • - debt collection,
    • - establishing and pursuing claims or defending against them.
  • Providing data is voluntary but necessary to conclude a contract or use other functionalities of the Service.

IV. The type of personal data processed

  • The administrator may process the User's personal data: first and last name, date of birth, residential address, email address, telephone number, tax identification number (NIP).

V. Personal Data Processing Period

  • The personal data of Users will be processed for the period:
    • - when the basis for data processing is the execution of a contract – until the expiration of claims after its execution,
    • - when the basis for data processing is consent – until its withdrawal, and after the withdrawal of consent until the expiration of claims.
  • The personal data of Users will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

VI. Sharing Personal Data

  • The personal data of Users will be processed for the period:
    • - when the basis for data processing is the performance of a contract – until the expiry of claims after its performance,
    • - when the basis for data processing is consent – until its withdrawal, and after the withdrawal of consent, until the expiry of claims.
  • In both cases, the limitation period is 6 years, and for claims for periodic benefits and claims related to conducting business activities – 3 years (unless a specific provision states otherwise).

VII. User Rights

  • Users of the Service have the right to: access their personal data, rectify it, delete it, restrict its processing, transfer it, object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect the legality of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).
  • Notifications regarding the exercise of rights mentioned above should be sent to admin@interio-group.com.
  • The administrator will comply with or deny the request immediately – within a maximum of one month from its receipt.
  • Users have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe that the processing violates their rights and freedoms (GDPR).

VIII. Cookies

  • The Service collects information using cookies - session, persistent, and from third parties.
  • The collection of cookies supports the proper provision of services on the Service and is used for statistical purposes.
  • Users can determine the extent to which cookies have access to their device in their browser settings.
  • Cookies are used for:
    • tailoring the content of the Service's web pages to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of websites; in particular, these files allow the Service's device to be recognized and the web page to be appropriately displayed, tailored to individual needs,
    • creating statistics that help understand how Service Users use web pages, which allows improving their structure and content,
    • maintaining the Service User's session (after logging in), so that the User does not have to re-enter their login and password on every subpage of the Service.
  • The following types of cookies are used within the Service:
    • - "necessary" cookies, enabling the use of services available within the Service, e.g., authentication cookies used for services that require authentication within the Service,
    • - cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect fraud in authentication within the Service,
    • -"performance" cookies, enabling the collection of information on how the web pages of the Service are used,
    • - "functional" cookies, allowing the "remembering" of settings selected by the User and personalization of the User interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes, font size, website appearance, etc.,
    • -"advertising" cookies, enabling the delivery of advertising content more tailored to the interests of Users.

IX. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

  • Users' data may not be processed in an automated manner that could result in any decisions being made against them.
  • Users' data may be profiled to tailor content and personalize offers after their consent.

X. Final Provisions

  • The Administrator has the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy, provided that Users' rights will not be limited.
  • Information about the changes will appear in the form of a notice available on the Service.
  • In matters not regulated by this Privacy Policy, the provisions of the GDPR and Polish law shall apply.
